When a user likes to extend the Li-Fi network over several rooms, a Li-Fi room connector is used. A room connector is simply a set of two standard Li-Fi routers on each side of the wall. A thin hole in the wall connects the two Li-Fi routers with either a fiber cable or an Ethernet plug. The Li-Fi routers are mounted on each side of the wall. The router has a built in replicate function.
When installing the network from room to room, the function is initiated through the software of the two relevant routers. It is processed in the Li-Fi network dialogue window of a connected computer or laptop. In this way, the connected room becomes a part of the Li-Fi network. It is also possible to connect different rooms via an existing Ethernet cable infrastructure.
